This beautiful multi-function building, designed by architect John Keay, features spacious air-conditioned and geo-thermally heated interiors. There's simply nothing like it in the Southern Gulf Islands!

Spacious gym, auditorium and meeting rooms:

In addition to our large 3800 square feet gym-auditorium, with seating and tables for 350, and wheel-chair access, we also feature a stage/meeting room, exercise room, kitchen, lounge/bar, mezzanine, and outdoor barbeque/courtyard/picnic tables,
with tents available for rental.

Exhibitions and special catered events:

We offer a great new facility for performances, meetings, wedding receptions, sports and cultural events!

2006 Improvements:

The new excercise room at the Rec. Centre is proving to be very popular! It features 24/7 access, cycle, treadmill, universal gym weight and excercise machines, plus a number of accessories and diagrammed instructions. This facility is available to all Rec. Our permanent tenants include the Saturna Medical Centre and Parks Canada Field Office.
